Luís Pucarinho nasceu no ano de 1976 na cidade de Alcacer do Sal, Portugal. Iniciou os seus estudos musicais aos 10 anos de idade e o seu primeiro intrumento foi o clarinete. A partir dos 14 anos iniciou-se no conservatório nas classes de Oboé, Guitarra Clássica, Classes de conjunto (coro e orquestra), história da música, práticas de teclado e acústica. Começou a escrever canções e a cantar com 15 anos de idade. Aos 21 anos mudou-se para a cidade de Évora onde fundou o grupo “Sons de Cá” cujas canções escritas por si (música e letra) cruzavam estilos entre a música tradicional até ao Rock. Esta formação que perdurou 10 anos, editou um EP “ Sons de Cá 2003” e gravou um outro álbum “Liberdade Condicional” inédito até aos dias de hoje. Destacaram-see algumas atuações como; festival Vilar de Mouros; festival Tejo; Queima das Fitas de Leiria, com pssagens por programas televisivos e radiofónicos que por si promoveram inúmeras atuações por todo o país (Portugal). No ano de 2011 assume carreira em nome próprio e escreve o disco “Na rua Amarela” com edição a cargo de Vachier e Associados. Este disco promoveu o seu trabalho além fronteiras com atuações por todo o país (Portugal), passando ainda por Espanha, França e Itália. Seguiram-se os álbuns “Orgânica Mente Humana” (2015) e “Saia Rodada” (2018) com edição por “AVM Editions” e distribuição por “Alta Fonte”. Estes últimos dois trabalhos são resutado das experiências de pré e pós produção formativas que o autor prestou em África (São Tomé e Príncipe) e Oriente ( Timor) onde também atuou com músicos locais. Todos os discos contam com mais de 12 músicos diferentes que acompanharam o autor desde a criação até ao palco. Em Novembro de 2024 foi editado “ Só as Perguntas Abrem Portas”, o quarto álbum em nome próprio de Luís Pucarinho.

(ENG) Luís Pucarinho was born in 1976 in the city of Alcacer do Sal, Portugal. He began his musical studies at the age of 10 and his first instrument was the clarinet. From the age of 14 he began at the conservatory in classes of Oboe, Classical Guitar, Ensemble Classes (choir and orchestra), History of Music, Keyboard Practice and Acoustics. He began writing songs and singing at the age of 15. At the age of 21 he moved to the city of Évora where he founded the group “Sons de Cá” whose songs written by him (music and lyrics) crossed styles between traditional music and Rock. This formation that lasted 10 years, released an EP “Sons de Cá 2003” and recorded another album “Liberdade Condicional” unreleased to this day. Some notable performances include: Vilar de Mouros festival; Tejo festival; Queima das Fitas de Leiria, with appearances on television and radio programs that promoted numerous performances throughout the country (Portugal). In 2011, he began his own career and wrote the album “Na rua Amarela” (In the Yellow Street), edited by Vachier and Associates. This album promoted his work abroad with performances throughout the country (Portugal), as well as in Spain, France and Italy. The albums “Orgânica Mente Humana” (Organic Human Mind) followed (2015) and “Saia Rodada” (2018) published by “AVM Editions” and distributed by “Alta Fonte”. These last two works are the result of the pre- and post-production training experiences that the author provided in Africa (São Tomé and Príncipe) and the East (Timor), where he also performed with local musicians. All the albums feature more than 12 different musicians who accompanied the author from the creation to the stage. In November 2024, “Só as Perguntas Abrem Portas” was released, Luís Pucarinho’s fourth album under his own name.
